Keep your head up and walk into the new decade with a feeling of curiosity!
It might be hard, now, to put aside the troubles in your mind. Life might seem like it has gone sideways. Well, honestly, it does tend to do that every once in awhile...

But what you don't know is what the future has in store for you. Now, don't get me wrong. The older you get the more you have to work at it. Whatever it is that you are striving for. And all we really have between rest is one day at a time. And luckily, that is all the time you need to create a future for yourself. Unless you have SO much goin' on that you need two days in a row before bedtime. If that's how you are then you might want to make a new years resolution and reorganize your life so that you have time to live it one day at a time.

The only thing that should be timeless is love, memories and music...

Get Out Of The Cold And Into Duke Ellington's Caravan

Hey y'all! Winter is just around the corner. And people are starting to feel the cold weather getin' up under their skin. Money is the kindling for some folks, who are busy trying to stoke their financial fires. Hard to find enough money these days, huh? Thoughts of cold climate Christmas shopping are starting to intervene with your daily routines.
And for those who are just trying to keep warm thoughts in your mind, somehow...

Imagine: you are out in the vast regions of a sandy wasteland; the desert. The heat from the afternoon sun causes you to sweat through your thin layer of silky wears. The canteen you have has just about a drop of water left in it. You start to feel a little woozy from the sweltering rays of that fire ball in the sky up above. But then...
...up ahead you spot a little palm tree grove...surrounding an open lake which sits across from a large fancy tent. There is music coming from inside. You run along side the cool breeze that must be coming from the lake and pop your head through the opening of the tent...to find Duke Ellington's band playing this song...
